"definition": "Numarul volumelor existente in biblioteci reprezinta totalitatea cartilor, brosurilor, colectiilor de ziare si reviste cu minim 5 pagini si materialele audiovizuale (casete cu benzi magnetice, discuri, diafilme si alte materiale de biblioteca: harti, grafice, reproduceri artistice, etc.) inscrise in registrul de inventar al bibliotecii.",
"methodology": "Tipurile de biblioteci sunt: nationale, universitare, publice (judetene, municipale, orasenesti si comunale), specializate (ale agentilor economici, ale cultelor, sindicatelor, institutiilor de cultura si organizatiilor obstesti).\r\nIn numarul bibliotecilor nationale este inclusa si Biblioteca Academiei Romane.\r\nPentru anii 1990,1991, in numarul total al bibliotecilor publice sunt incluse si bibliotecile cooperatiei mestesugaresti, sindicale si ale cultelor religioase, acestea nefiind incluse in numarul bibliotecilor judetene, orasenesti si municipale si comunale.\r\nPina in anul 1994 seriile de date se refera numai la bibliotecile proprietate publica.\r\nRaport de metadate si calitate\n",
