Institutiile si companiile de spectacole sau concerte prezinta direct publicului productii artistice - spectacole si/sau concerte care pot fi: spectacole dramatice,  coregrafice, de opera, opereta, folclorice, de revista, cabaret, de circ, de papusi si/sau marionete, de teatru instrumental, respectiv concerte de muzica academica, simfonica, vocal-simfonica, camerala, corala, folclorica, electronica. In cazul cand o institutie de spectacol prezinta spectacole concomitent in mai multe sali sau cand in aceeasi sala prezinta alternativ spectacole in limbi diferite, personalul artistic se grupeaza pe colective artistice. Daca sub aceeasi conducere administrativa exista colective artistice care dau spectacole in genuri artistice diferite sau limbi diferite, acestea se considera ca fiind unitati artistice separate.",
